Saturday Niiiiight

Such a great night last night it was just what I needed considering a few stresses currently, thought I'd blog a few snaps from the evening (didn't take any when I was out! I always forget these days)

Dress - H&M
Fail-safe LBD, and it was an absolute BARGAIN at £12.99 from H&M.
You can't really see it here but it has lace at the neck which makes it that little bit different to just your average black dress.

 Nails Inc - Victoria

My favourite nail colour EVER! In real the colour's actually a lot deeper than this & that's only with one coat. I always wear this when I want a polished ('xcuse pun), sophisticated nail look, and it looks great when your nails are at a short stage too.

Gold by Giles lashes

I didn't wear these false lashes out in the end - I wear glasses & they were WAYYY too long behind the lense! But these are great for a dramatic look, I picked these up for £2 reduced from £5 in New Look by 'Gold by Giles'.

NOTD: Nails Inc 'Knightsbridge'

A gorgeous bubblegum hot-pink that instantly brightens up my nails. Great application & only needed 2 coats max.

My lil Nails Inc collection

I've collected these over time, yet never bought one individually! Most have been freebies from magazines (Glamour, InStyle) and the rest I bought as a gift set. The box I'm using is a NARS gift box that you can choose to buy along with your order from the NARS website.
I just wish Nails Inc's formula wasn't as thick as it is :-( and they could do with a better brush for application. LOVE their colour selection though.

Glamour magazine - Free NAILS INC polishes

Glamour magazine are giving away a choice of 4 Nails Inc nail varnishes (worth around £11 each) in pale pink (Warwick Avenue), brown (Jermyn Street), dark red (Hampstead Heath) and deep plum (Savile Row). I was lucky enough to see 3 separate shades all in one shop (Boots) and was quickly asked by the cashier "are you buying all these for the nail varnishes?!" And she was right...though I'd pretty much lost my voice at the time so had to croak back "yeah you don't usually find all the colours!" haha. This is me wearing Jermyn Street:

Great offer - a bargain £8 for what would be around £44 if you were to buy the nail varnishes from the shop.

Edit: I recently purchased 'Savile Row' aswell ;)

NOTD's..

Barry M - 'Rasberry'

I LOVE this shade (albeit looking its best when my hands are a little more tanned) & can say without a doubt it's my favourite shade of red I own (& I have a LOT of nail colours). I'm impressed with Barry M's nail polish quality - it only chips slightly after a couple of days and the consistency is perfect when applying it. One of my favourite nail varnishes - & I only bought it 'cause it was two for £5 in Boots!

This shade is by Nails Inc - it's my best friend's (she works for Nails Inc) & I can't remember the shade name..! (Sorry) She applied 1 coat for me here, which looks good but I'd advise 2 coats to anyone as I later noticed you could still see my nails through it slightly. Great neutral shade - picked this one to wear as I had an interview the next day so couldn't wear anything too bold ;-)
Apart from the price, the only other downside I find with Nails Inc is their polishes seem to chip VERY easily...& I end up picking away at my nails as the colour flakes 'n peels off in abig chunks haha!
Looks nice for a couple of days max unfortunately :-(

haul

House of Fraser have a Clinique 'Gift Time' offer on that's just started, if you buy 2 products, with 1 being skincare.

I purchased the Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector and the Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliating Cream as both had good reviews.
EDIT: I have since returned the Pore Minimizer perfector back to the store, as it didn't do the job for me, and if anything it just made me break out..!

The free gift contains samples of Take The Day Off Makeup Remover, 7 Day Scrub Cream, Dramatically Different Moisturiser, All About Eyes and Deep Comfort Butter.
However I already know that the Eye cream just doesn't go down well with me - when I bought All About Eyes in the past, within a week of use red painful and itchy rashes appeared all around the eye area where you apply it. Was quite dissapointed with this as Clinique are supposed to specialise in skincare! So now I use
Olay Total Effects Eye Transforming Cream and so far it's worked great.

Allllso, anyone who likes Benefit should head down to the newsagents if they haven't already and buy Glamour magazine - which comes with 3 different Benefit products to collect.

I went a bit crazy and bought 6 as it was such a good deal haha.
You can choose from the 'Eye Bright' pencil, which works well in the inner corner of the eyes, 'It Stick' concealer which apparently is the least popular but actually works really well over spots and under the eyes, and the famous 'Bad Gal' eyeliner which has a nice design but I prefer Maxfactor or Elizabeth Arden as the kohl in their eyeliners have more intensity and you don't need to apply as much.

Wore my Belle & Mimi leather sandals today... but god did they eventually hurt! Haha ended up wearing my trusty flip flops... and ending up about 10feet shorter.

The nail varnish I'm wearing is 'Candy' by Nails Inc & I loove it
